Hello everyone and welcome.
Our journey actually started a long time ago, but it just took us awhile to get here. It has always been on my heart to adopt internationally, but just one of those things that seemed to get put on the backburner. We are blessed with 4 wonderful boys who are very excited about the idea of adopting. The journey (as far as the paperwork goes) all started last May. Our paperchase was completed and sent of to Cafac (that's our adoption agency) last september. The Dossier fianlly made it's way to Ethiopia on November 23rd, 2006. We have been officially waiting for a referral since then. We don't know for sure how long we will wait, but it could be as long as 10 months. Once we have a referral we wait again. This time for immigration papers to be completed and then we will fly to Ethiopia to get our girls. We have requested siblings from 0-5 years of age. The time has gone by quickly, but yet at other times it seems to drag. the time between referral and travel to Ethiopia is 4-6 months. So we are still a ways away from having girls in the house. We are excited and feel very blessed. I always new I would get a girl, but this way I get two. We hope you will pray for us as we go along on this journey. We are so thankful for friends and family. I will post more, but just wanted to get this up and running. I really don't know what I am doing......it helps to have a 16 year old who understands computer stuff. Have a great day and feel free to leave your comments .

We are thrilled to hear the news of your little girls and are excited and anxious along with you to see them become a part of your family in Edmonton. God is good and His love endures forever. Psalms 68:5-6 says "A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows is God in His holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families, leads forth the prisoners with singing....".
Blessings on each of you as you anticipate and prepare for the arrival of your daughters.
Hugs to all,
Love
