THE KURTZ FAMILY........OUR ADOPTION JOURNEY

Today has come to an end. It was a great day spent with family. My sister Jody and her husband had all of us over for a Ham Dinner. It was yummy! We had family up from Moose jaw and also Calgary. There was a lot of us. It was very noisey, but good to be with family. Our kids got up and found their chocolate eggs etc....this year Sam(who is 6) got his first real bible. He was excited, but of course immediately went back for more chocolate. At our house it's fun to watch the kids get excited, but we celebrate because Jesus has risen and he is alive. We ate too much...I'm still full.....and the day has quickly come to an end. We have much to be thankful for and in church this morning that's mostly what I thought about as we celebrated this Easter Sunday. We are so thankful to have received our referral for our girls and I was showing off their pictures at church this morning. I couln't help but think that next year things will be differnt. Sam will be a big brother, something he's never been before and the other 3 are concerned about makeup, the color pink, boyfriends. We are all very excited to get them home as quickly as possible. I can't post their pictures yet as they are not legally ours, but I pray the process happens quickly. It tuned out to be a beautiful day, lot of sunshine, lots of smiles, and lots of food!
